Access management

The API key will have the access rights which are specifically enabled in the MyPuro Portal for API use. This section describes instructions on how to enable API access to your own resources, or share access to another Puro.earth Account Holder to your selected resources.

Enabling API access to your own resources​

To enable API access to your own MyPuro resources, go to the Access management page in the MyPuro Portal.

  1. Go to the MyPuro Portal and log in with your credentials, and navigate to the API keys section.
  2. Press the Grant access button, and then go to the My access section.
  3. Enable the access rights you want to grant to your API keys. From the top section you can enable accesses for accounts, and from the bottom you can manage global access rights for your resources.
  4. Enable the access rights which you want to use throught the API, and press Grant access button at the bottom of the page.

Sharing access to another Puro.earth Account Holder​

  1. Request the Puro.earth Account Holder ID of the organization you want to share access with. The ID is found on the API keys of the MyPuro Portal.
  2. Go to the MyPuro Portal and log in with your credentials, and navigate to the API keys section.
  3. Press the Grant access button, and then go to the Share to others section.
  4. The Share to others section is similar to the My access section, but here you will now enter the Account Holder ID of the organization you want to share access to.
  5. Enable the access rights which you want to give to the organization specified by the Account Hodlder ID, and press Grant access button at the bottom of the page.
